1. 🦙 Llama farm Interpretation Center

Located along the route from Cusco to Pisac, This Llama Farm is a sustainable project dedicated to the preservation of South American camelids such as llamas, alpacas, guanacos, and vicuñas. Visitors can interact with these animals and observe ancestral weaving techniques demonstrated by Andean women.

If you are looking for best quality of alpaca fabric and help support some families in the highlands this is the right place.

2. 🌄 Taray Viewpoint (Mirador del Valle Sagrado)

A strategic panoramic stop offering a stunning overlook of the Sacred Valley’s meandering Urubamba River, ancient agricultural terraces, and distant peaks of the Andes. Ideal for photos and geographical orientation.

3. 🏛 Pisac Archaeological Park

One of the most sophisticated Inca urban and agricultural complexes, Pisac features a vast network of hillside terraces, ceremonial structures, residential areas, and the largest Inca cemetery discovered to date.

4. 🌀 Moray Agricultural Laboratory

This remarkable circular terracing system is believed to have served as a sophisticated Inca agricultural research station. Each concentric ring generates its own microclimate, allowing cultivation of diverse crops.

5. 🧂 Salt Mines of Maras (Salineras de Maras)

An outstanding example of pre-Inca hydraulic engineering, the salt pans of Maras consist of more than 3,000 salt pools fed by a hypersaline spring. These evaporation ponds are still harvested manually by local families. if you want to get some Pink salt this would be a good place too.

6. 🏯 Ollantaytambo Archaeological Complex

This living Inca town showcases masterful megalithic architecture with perfectly fitted stones, religious temples, military walls, ceremonial fountains, and defensive terraces. It also served as a military stronghold during the Spanish conquest.

Finally , we finish exploring our day visit with Ollantaytambo mor know as the “alive inka town “. Afterwards,  we catch our train to Aguas Calientes  where we stay overnight. 

Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

🏯 Machu Picchu Archaeological Sanctuary

Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, this majestic Inca citadel remains the pinnacle of Inca engineering, astronomy, and spirituality.

After breakfast, take the bus to the Inca city of Machu Picchu and take a guided tour for 2 and a half hours. With the help of your professional guide, explore the entire lost city of the Incas. After the tour, in your free time, if you booked Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain (optional), you can climb on your own.
After all, at the indicated time, take a bus to the city of Aguas Calientes and have lunch on your own. In the afternoon, head to the station and take the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon your arrival, our host will be waiting for you to escort you to your hotel in Cusco.
